Today we went on a “Luxury Mini Coach Day Tour” which took us about 80 miles outside of London. We visited Old Sarum Castle, Salisbury (mainly Salisbury Cathedral), Stonehenge, and Avebury. The tour was called the “Stones & Bones” tour.

So we put back on our tourist hats yesterday and visited the Tower of London. We took the Beefeater tour which was highly entertaining. There is apparently a lot of blood and gore in British history, especially where the Tower is concerned.

Still in London, Danielle and I have spent the better part of the last couple of days resting and relaxing and avoiding the heat. We switched hotels today to the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, and we now have air conditioning! It’s amazing how many creature comforts you take for granted at home…
