Color Wars is an absolutely great idea. Ze Frank and others put this together. The official explanation. I like it so much because it is starting to really use existing services such as Flickr and Twitter in a way that makes the whole more than the sum of its parts. And they are having fun! And they have merit badges, and nerd raps, and RoShamBo, and all sorts of things!

@ronji - no, I wasn’t asked for permission. Thanks for pointing this out. The only time I was asked for permission was from BBC Brazil, and I never could find out if they actually used it.
i was asked permission by the guardian, barcroft media, the daily flog, and splash msn. i don’t know if any of them but the daily flog ran the story or used my photos, though.
actually, come to think of it, in the spine on that page it says the photos on the page are credited to BARM/FAME PICTURES… i have a feeling that’s barcroft media.
so that may have been me giving permission, heh. anyway, i’ll be keeping my copy of this magazine for as long as i can, we’re famous! =P
