As I noted before, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival of my XO laptop from the One Laptop Per Child program. Well… it arrived!

And its tiny! Here it is side by side with a 15″ MacBook Pro:

KidWonder loves the laptop. Take a look at the Flickr slideshow of his first impression.

I’ve tooled around with the Sugar interface (go Python!) a bit, not enough to really have an opinion. I think, just from the hour I spent looking at this, that it is indeed a revolutionary way to think of a computer. Bravo to the MIT team and Negroponte for pulling this off! You guys could use some customer support help, but the machine is impressive.
