MomWonder completely outdid herself as we hosted our first Thanksgiving since moving to the burbs of Westchester. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and a 22 pound Butterball turkey. All cooked the day of Thanksgiving, and all done and ready for serving right at our targeted 4pm dinner time. She has certainly been touched by the cooking gods. :-)

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with my side of the family, followed up by a mellow day of Black Friday shopping at Target (new pots and pans!), and a relaxing brunch this morning before folks had to head back. We snapped some pictures before everyone had to go their separate ways, KidWonder with Pa, followed by KidWonder and 2 of his cousins.

At times like this, I realize the important of family, and gain a better perspective on life. MomWonder and I are so lucky to have such a beautiful, healthy boy. We have a loving family, and that has been a big influence on my life and in my relationships.

To everyone out there, I hope you had a tremendous Thanksgiving! Here’s to turkey sandwiches, turkey stew, turkey…
