Marc Andreeson, co-founder of Netscape, has a great series of posts on startups on his blog: http://blog.pmarca.com

The latest post deals with hiring, managing, promoting, and firing executives at your startup.

And Marc is yet another in a growing number of prolific figures who have blogs that have turned off their comments. Is this just a case of not having enough time? Or is the value of a comment on a blog really so small as to not be worth sifting through the crap to find the gems?
