We had a great time with family and friends today, having a post-birth baby shower for KidWonder. Fun was had by all, food, laughs, and great weather. We got a permit from the NYC Parks department to hold the baby shower in Central Park’s Arthur Ross Pinetum. A bit of a walk from our apartment, but worth it! Nice shade from the sun, picnic tables, and just a relaxing atmosphere, as the Pinetum is not the busiest area of the park by far.
I would recommend having functions in the park, the permit cost was only $25, a far cry from renting a hall to have it.
Here we have my nieces and nephew, in from out of town, and The Kid:

Looks like you all had a wonderful time, what a great way to host it. Peter
sounds like a total blast! and having it outside is great if kids are there - so they can expand that endless energy. wish i had some of that.
