So yes, I know I just posted about WoW, but… I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a game I first played while working for Yahoo! HotJobs years ago. It is called Warfish, and is available at warfish.net. Before you guys go running to it, it is an invitation-only game, so you have to be invited by someone who has already played the game.

The game is fun, it is an online version of Risk. The graphics aren’t exactly lifelike (see pic of game board) but the play is fun. The best part is, if you have a job that requires you to be at a terminal all day, you can take your turn whenever you have the chance. You receive an e-mail that it is your turn, and go at it. It is great to get your mind off of people that you would rather set fire to than talk to.

Update: The Warfish.net author showed me how to allow people to sign up for Warfish without “knowing someone”. You can do that here.
